HERTZ MINILEASING PERSONAL USE

The MiniLeasing monthly rate includes 2000 kilometers, Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) and Theft Protection (TP) with a € 500 self risk, traffic insurance, Additional Driver Fee, seasonal tyre change and VAT 24%.
The self risk for EV´s (Electric Vehicles) and minibuses is € 1000 per damage. The rental also includes scheduled maintenance, technical repairs and a replacement car for the day

The monthly rate does not include fuel or electricity. Interior or exterior cleaning of the car is not included during the rental.

You can make a reservation by filling out the form on this page. Hertz will contact you during the next business day at the latest, and confirm availability.
We recommend you make the reservation request as early as possible, no later than the previous business day. You can also make a reservation by calling the Hertz Minileasing department +358 (0)20 555 2222. Phone service during business days is from 8 am to 4 pm. In car groups where the car model can be confirmed, we will reserve the exact car model for you. If you book a car group that says "or similar", the displayed car model is just an example and the exact car model cannot be confirmed in advance.

No. The reservation must be made in the name of the person picking up the car. When picking up the car, the renter signs the rental agreement and pays the rental with their own credit card.

No. The reservation is made under one name. That person picks up the car and pays for the rental with their own credit card.

No. The rental agreement is always made with a natural person. The company details are possible to add on the agreement as additional information.

The reservation will be found under the renter’s name so a reservation number is not necessary.

The rental price is not cheaper the longer the rental period is.

We recommend that the reservation be made well in advance in order to confirm the car group and the price quoted at the time. The reservation can be modified or cancelled at any time without an additional fee. It is possible to make a reservation on short notice however the car availability can be limited.

The driving license details will be checked at the same time the rental agreement is signed. Please do not send the driving license details in advance by email.

The minimum age is 18 years. This applies also for additional drivers.

A MiniLeasing reservation can be cancelled at any time without an additional fee before the car pick up.

You can start your rental any time you prefer.

At the time of reservation, you need to select a pick-up and drop off date. The minimum rental period is one month/30 days and after that the car can be returned at any time.

Each rental includes 2000 kilometres per month/30 days. Additional days include 67 kilometres per day. Example: A rental is 2 months and 5 days (total 65 days) including 4335 kilometres (2 x 2000 km + 5 x 67 km).

The kilometres are calculated at the end of the rental and if there are extra kilometres driven these are charged in the final invoice.

A rental month is 30 days. The rental periods will be charged every 30 days starting from the pick-up. For example: Pick-up 15th June, the first payment period is 15th June -15th July and the next one 15th July -14th August.
One rental day is 24 hours and it starts when the car is picked up. Please note that the car should be returned at the same time as the pick-up was in order to avoid an additional extra days charge.

The rental agreement is signed at the time of pick-up. At the same time the first rental month (30 days) will be charged.

The method of payment is with a credit card. You will need to present the credit card when picking up the car, as the first payment will be charged at that time.

Yes, the renter signs the rental agreement when picking up the car and pays the first month's rental with his own personal credit card. The card must also be used in the chip reader, so it must be physically present.

- It is possible but only for business rentals. However, a free-form invoicing authorization request to our MiniLeasing department minileasing@hertz.fi should be done.
An invoice fee of € 9,92 incl. VAT 24% per invoice will apply.

In case the maintenance light appears in the dashboard, please contact your Hertz location. We will arrange a replacement car if needed for that day.

We will send you instructions regarding the tyre change closer to the date informing the place and time. The renter drives the car there. The tyres to the car are located near the rental location. If the tyres need to be shipped to another location, that can be done with an extra fee.

The car’s interior and exterior cleaning during the rental is not included.
The renter is obligated to pay Hertz for cleaning costs due to any unusual fouling of the car. Consumable fluids, such as windscreen washer fluid and AdBlue, are not included in the price.

If the rental ends before the scheduled return date, please contact your Hertz location or contact person.
If the minimum rental period (30 days) has already expired, the rental can also be terminated in the middle of the month without a separate notice period. You will be charged for the days used.

No. The car must be returned to the same Hertz location within its opening hours. The Hertz location may be another within the same city. An extra charge may apply.

The MiniLeasing rates include limited kilometres. The monthly rate includes 2000 kilometres. The additional kilometre rate is € 0,17 per km and they can be purchased in advance or after the rental. The rate is the same in both cases.

No, we do not compensate for the undriven kilometres.

Additional driver fees in MiniLeasing rentals are free of charge. Please do not send driving licence details by e-mail in advance.
Additional drivers must have a valid driver's license. The renter is obliged to check that the additional driver has the required driving license. The renter is ultimately responsible that the rental car is used in accordance with the road traffic legislation and that the rental conditions of Hertz Car Rental are followed.

Additional drivers can be added to the rental agreement when you pick up the car. They dont have to be there physically.

Hertz rental cars are fairly new.

Only some of the cars have a tow bar. Mostly the cars are bigger station wagons or SUVs. If you prefer a car with a tow bar, please write a request in the reservation form, in the comments section, and we will confirm availability.

You can make a preference regarding the colour of the car. Please write it in the booking form, in the comments section, when making the reservation.

All our cars have studded winter tires.

The rental rate includes traffic insurance, Collision Damage Waiver and Theft Protection with a € 500 self risk.
It is possible to purchase SuperCover at the Hertz location, when picking up the car, to reduce the self risk to € 200 per damage. The rate for SuperCover is € 75 for 30 days (€ 2,5 per day). It is not possible to reduce the self risk to zero (€ 0). SuperCover is not available for EV´s (Electric Vehicles) or minibuses.

No. The rental rate always includes traffic insurance, Collision Damage Waiver and Theft Protection with a € 500 self risk. For Electric Vehicles and minibuses the self risk is € 1000.

The Renter is released from his or her liability to the Rental Company in regards to their own risk if the Rental Company receives full compensation from a potential third party that caused the damage or his or her insurance company.

The rental company is responsible for technical faults occurring in the car during the rental period, which is not caused by the renter's operating error and/or negligence.

The discount code cannot be applied to MiniLeasing rentals.

The company contract rates apply to the so-called short-term rentals, i.e. possible contract rates or discounts, cannot be combined with MiniLeasing rentals.

Yes. Points are awarded from MiniLeasing rentals.

The membership accumulates Hertz Gold Plus Rewards points. The membership number should be mentioned at the time of booking, latest when picking up the car. Discounts do not apply for MiniLeasing rentals.
